Match Report

 

On a wierdly hot and stuffy October morning, the u7s made the hike up to Mountain Ash.

Upon arrival we were notified that the home side were short of players and thus would be playing some of their u8s, unfortunately for the Youngstars, they were good u8s players !

Mountain Ash quickly raced into a 3-0 lead before Max Hemsley crashed over for his first try of season.

The home side then ran in another well worked try despite some heroic tagging from all the Sports players. The Youngstars were rewarded for their efforts in defence when some neat passing saw Joseph Wilkinson cross in the corner for their 2nd try of the match.

Mountain Ash had the last say with their fifth try but considering the stronger and faster opposition, the Youngstars can keep their head held high after a proud display of tagging.
